This weekend, your child will come home with an invitation postcard for you. We invite all parents of K-4th grade to join their child during their regular gathering on June 19th or 20th on any campus.
That weekend will be very special, as we will present the Salvation Message from the stage. We will give kids an opportunity, if they feel led, to pray quietly and ask Jesus to be their Forever Friend. Forever friend is a term that we use at kidVenture Island. We talk about Jesus being our friend forever. He never changes. He always remains there for us when we need Him. They will watch an interactive video and hear live teaching about Jesus forgiving us for our sins. In kidLife Groups, their leader will discuss what it means to have Jesus as our Forever Friend. They will be available to answer questions. We want this to be a special time with you and your child. It is a great opportunity to bridge the gap between church and home. We hope you find this time helpful. It is a wonderful blessing to have your children in our environments and we look forward to showing you a glimpse of what we do each weekend.
Treasure Cove kids will also hear a very simple story about Jesus' free gift of forgiveness. They will not be lead in prayer, as we are planting seeds at this time in their life.
